Fabiana Pigna grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and launched her namesake label in the spring of 2015 after moving to Los Angeles. She had previously worked as a designer for a number of fashion companies in the USA and South America before starting her own line. It started with nine blouses made in a very special Japanese white polin. The concept was to use the blouses as a blank canvas to bring attention to different sculptural cuts and silhouettes. Today, Pigna continues to use luxury poplin fabrics to create crisp, minimalist designs in sculptural, billowing shapes. In support of local manufacturing, the line is designed and produced exclusively in Los Angeles using a mix of high end fabrics sounded in Japan and Europe.
