What to Wear: Halloween Edition
Still want to dress up at home this Halloween, but are stuck on what to wear? Well our Virtual Stylist Stephanie has you covered with some fabulous costume ideas, inspired by a few classic movies we all love!
Halloween is all about costumes and taking on an identity different from your own. For those of you who will be missing your yearly costume bash, we encourage you to dress up at home for your zoom happy hour. We’ve put together some great dress up ideas for you, that you’ll even be able to create with pieces you already have in your wardrobe!
Holly Golightly-Breakfast at Tiffany’s
This Breakfast at Tiffany’s character is truly a classic! Pull out your fave little black dress, like this Greta Constantine and pair it with some fabulous jewelry! Want to put your costume over the top? Throw on some black elbow length gloves, sunglasses and a tiara. Voila, you are ready for Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Sally-When Harry Met Sally
Who doesn’t love an iconic romcom! A Sally costume is the perfect Halloween costume for those who want to be comfortable and casual, but still festive.
Pull out your favourite neutral knit, pair it with a neutral pant and top it off with a slightly oversized blazer. Bonus points if you have a felt hat to finish the look.
As long as you have something plaid in your wardrobe, you can absolutely pull together a Cher look this Halloween! Layering is key in creating your outfit, pairing a classic white tee, with a cardigan and plaid blazer over top to finish off this classic style. If you’re lucky enough to have a plaid skirt suit laying around in that closet of yours, now is the time to pull it out!
