The WFH Wardrobe: Dressing for Zoom meetings and beyond

Yorkville Stylist, Siobhan shares her favourite looks that work for your new lifestyle, carrying you from Zoom meetings to drinks on a patio and everything in between.

Spring is in the air and our stores are open for business. Our clients are enjoying being able to drop in for a visit with our stylists to see the latest Spring collections. As life starts to shift back to a form or normalcy, our clients have told us that their wardrobing needs are changing. With many continuing to work from home, any garments must be pieces that will work double-duty. Never has it been more important that our clothing be functional, flexible, and flattering.

The Zoom call is here to stay, so it is so important that we dress with colour or patterns to help us stand out. This Mini Baja Blazer from Smythe will do the trick - belted for a more structured and professional look, it will move right into the weekend when you remove the belt and pair it with a great Frame jean and an elevated Majestic Tee.

For the benefit of our mental health and our waistlines, it is time to put away our sweats and get into more structured and layered looks. This Circolo blazer is unlined, making it perfect for both work and the weekend. You'll have it all covered by pairing the blazer with a beautiful Max Mara dress and Jenny Bird necklace.

As we look forward to the future, with some venturing back into the office, clothing must reflect the professionalism the job dictates. This gorgeous Marc Cain outfit is chic, sophisticated and will take you anywhere - the office or making a visual statement on a Zoom meeting.

We are all looking forward to restaurant outings and cocktails on patios, so our outfits must have the flexibility to take us to both places. This Circolo blazer worn over this figure flattering Velvet dress is the perfect Day to Night outfit. Topping it off with a new Frame handbag is a must!
