Presenting... Rag & Bone
Built from the ground up by British-born business partners David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, Rag & Bone’s strength lies in its unwavering belief in the brand’s core tenets of design – chief among them, the influence of traditional British craftsmanship clashed with a decidedly New York sensibility when it comes to styling.
As a testament to their laser-sharp lens, Wainwright kept one of his father’s suit jackets from the 1950s in his office as a reminder of the power of timeless investment pieces.
If that weren’t charming enough, every design detail tells a secret story. The leaf motif that adorns the back of every rivet? A digital scan from an indigo plant that grew on Wainwright’s windowsill when he was learning the art of denim-making.
The five-dagger button design? A serendipitous dictionary flip to the definition of dagger while at a Brooklyn market.
The “rb” embroidery on the back of each pocket? A logo that has remained intact since Wainwright hand-stitched it onto every pair in the first collection.
Fast forward to today and New York-based Rag & Bone has a renewed focus on staple wardrobe icons, core denim washes and sharp blazer silhouettes, making it a perfect fit for the refined Andrews aesthetic.
Our first delivery has arrived, welcoming instant fall favourites. Take the Slade wool blazer, complete with stand-up collar, the Dre baggy jean and the retro leather runners, for example. Each piece has the power to infuse your look with effortless sophistication.
